It’s a Cheritz. Of course, it will be decent in story and character design, that much is given if you ask me. As a girl with a sad past, MC’s barely making it through life, until one day 5 pets show up that turn out to be *le gasp* actually human guys. Spoiler! They are here for a reason they refuse to tell, and you keep bumbling through life trying to figure it out. In that regard, the game’s story is very reminiscent of Nameless. However, the premise underneath is even darker, especially because, if you think about it, everyone in this game is cruel to MC in some way.
It was my first “stat levelling” otome, meaning you level stats to impress the guys. I found this process tedious. Replay is harder: releveling and hearing them repeat themselves constantly gets old quick. I recommend starting with a guide and at least getting the hints out of it, because I accidentally picked the hardest guy first and it took me 8 tries to reach his good end - instead of being assaulted by fried chicken (don’t ask). At that point I had mastered the game and it became impossible to fail any of the other stories. The characters were charming and unique, sometimes a bit overbearing but generally not in a bad way. I do however not appreciate Cheritz’s way of making the youngest guy seem somewhat too young, they make a habit out of it. However, despite the tedious aspect, it was worth the effort to make it all the way to the ??? ending, which seems to share a crossover with Nameless.
