Cupid

A little girl turns up in a church. She is all alone, wounded, and dirty. The priest who helps her cannot help himself around her. Why is she here? What is she after?

In this gothic 18th century novel set in France, Rosa is guided through her path by the voice in her head (the player) whom she calls "Mother." The story is very dark and creepy, and it was personally very hard for me to be so awful to the girl. It was very hard for me to understand why things were like this until the very end. I have to say though, that this was very well done, and a great story. It was just hard for me to deal with the dark and cruel aspects that the game was tackling. I could, however, not put it down until I reached the end of the secret ending.
