In a world where psychics are real, a girl one day receives a mysterious invitation: enroll in a special school with the explicit purpose of solving a series of crimes occurring there. Why her? That’s the million dollar question. Perhaps MC can find the answer - or will she be the next victim?

In the end of X-note, the author, who admits English isn’t his first language, states the following in the end: “It is far from perfect and the basic idea is quite generic. Yet, I have never felt so much emotion when it comes to my own stories. I was absorbed like never before.”

To me, this sums it up better than I could have. Yes, this game was very simple in execution and could have been so much more, but it’s simple beauty and emotional story did draw me in, it made me laugh, and cry, and I fell in love with all of the characters. In execution, the game did have flaws. It was very simple story wise, character building, and romance. The art can use an upgrade. It is really hard to get the endings just right, even with a guide. Things got much simpler once I found a password list on steam (all scenes can be unlocked with passwords), as well as the guide to the game on the Zeiva website.

In the end, this game was worth every minute of frustration to me, and I am excited to move on to the sequel. Also, spacebar is your friend. Remember this, if you ever feel very hopeless in the psychic mini-games.

Final side note, I love the rebranding. Dudebucks instead of Starbucks, and Doors 8 instead of Windows 8.
