Personally, I feel Dogenzaka Labs are developers that clearly cut corners, and you will see me show a lot of disdain for their games in this list. The games often seem half-assed, badly translated, and missing the big “it”. On the flip side, the art tends to be very enticing. This story, however, started out interesting enough. MC is the princess of a war torn shogunate, just lost her entire family, and makes a wish that her kingdom could be saved. A demon answers the call, and sends 5 historic warlords in positions that used to be family, like father and brother and fiancé. However, receiving the help of a demon – a catch is likely not too far behind. The game was, in some ways, a lot darker than I expected, and some of those stories were a bit tough to swallow. Like dating your “father” for instance, even though he wasn’t really. Definitely not a game for the sensitive, some of the guys were a bit abusive. I got really creeped out at some points during a few of the storylines. Some of the others I did enjoy. It was a really mixed bag.
