Blush Blush
by Sad Panda Studios
See Crush Crush on Steam if you'd rather have girls. I could only handle one of these games, so I won't be reviewing it here. Sample picture below.
Platform: Steam [FREE]
Character Routes: 12 + a bunch of phone conversations
Bad Endings: No
Category: Stat-Levelling Drool Fest aka an Idle clicker
Explicit Adult Content: Yes
Personal Favorites: Volks, Poe, Basil, Sterling, Scale and Cole
For a game that played itself, Blush Blush left no end of amusement. The story was amusing, as a ditzy MC passed out magical water and accidentally turning all cute boys into animals. As stats are leveled, and romance grows, they slowly get turned back into humans. It's not much of a story.
I am slightly embarrassed to say that I played the game till the end, however, in my defense, it did play itself while I wasn't home and not using my computer for other things. I did like the premise, but in the end the stats get ridiculously tedious for money making purposes.
The chat conversations are not related to the "manimals," other than being jumping off points. I think what I appreciated the most is the fact that literally every fetish and fandom was addressed, anything from Harry Potter (I mean not really after all copyright) to food fantasies, and literally everything in-between, at some point reared its appearance. It was quite impressive.
The art was horrendous. If they had given better CGs and showed some more variety in pictures I think I would've gone easier on my art rating.
The two guys that are unlockable through payment are worth it for 2 reasons. Sven gives the lightning bolt ability, which makes life SO much easier. Cole is amusing because he, in his own way, is capable of interacting with all the other characters, while none of the others ever really do.
Anyway, my final conclusion. Great 5-minutes-at-a-time waster. But not really a game to spend time on overall.
