Welcome to Otome Snow!
Your personal tour guide to the world of visual novels and otome games.
A good story, no matter its theme or ending, surrounds life with a feeling of soft tranquility, like fresh fallen snow. May this page help you find the serenity you seek when the world is at its coldest.
Hey there! I am Lyla Snowlocke, a self-proclaimed otome lunatic. I play a ton of video games, and on this page, I decided to list, describe and give my impressions of all the visual novels I read (otome and otherwise). There is over 70+ featured on this page, and I will update it over time.
I play on any platform I can get my hands on, and I am only adding stories I have completed or at least accomplished a satisfactory amount of story to pass judgement. Yes, there are many - but I just love this genre, and if the story is compelling, I’m there, if there’s romance, I’m heaven! So keep in mind I tend to prefer story heavy visual novels, and my judgement will be colored by this preference.
I classify each game by type as it’s different visual novels (predominantly otome - so-called, maiden games that have a female protagonist and generally end the story with romance along the way) and I also denote the relationships that are available, Boy (B), Girl (G), and beyond. I also rated them based on my analysis, if I haven't read enough to rate, it will just say pending (P). I used the categories Art, Characters, Storyline, Gameplay and Overall - if it’s a pure visual novel, Gameplay receives a N/A. The scale used is 1-10, 10 being highest.

Below, a silly meme of me and my friend arguing about Otome games which is usually a daily occurrence.
Disclaimer: We both believe in Indie Otome and the potential that they represent. This argument is just an out of context excerpt, it was funny, and we had a good giggle.
