Scarlet Fate

MC is Princess Tamayori, the priestess of Kifu and the only person who can seal the demon sword that would otherwise destroy the world. But when a demon threatens all of humanity, she has to navigate the treacherous environment of gods and warriors to find whether or not she can not only save the world, but herself, from their terrible fate.

This game is fantastic, the story is well thought out and the characters overall enjoyable. I did not like the length - and don’t get me wrong, I like a good long story, but sometimes this game just seems drawn out with extra filling scenes, and that drove me a little nuts. Or maybe in some ways, the endings just seemed repetitive because they all sort of follow the same formula. The effort is not wasted, however, the romance tends to build naturally and the endings are satisfying. For the most part. I felt pretty jipped by Aterui - it had a significant epilogue with ends with a half assed one liner.. However, there is a sequel to read, so I want to see if I can see some more there. Either way, I am excited that there will be more to see in the sequel.
